I can't find the words to explain how utterly shocked I am over how beautiful this piece is! It makes me feel like writing a story - and that's kind of hard to do that to me sometimes. I believe you've succeeded in making my kitten go to sleep (just a little off topic thing there. :D).
What can I say. It's obvious that you have been tinkering around on the ivory for a while. It makes me jealous! :) It's musicians like you that make me close my eyes and pretend the I'm playing the song. I really like that imagery, it makes me happy. The piece flows beautifully, and I love how at the end the piece seems to fall into this sort of melody that allows a smoothe replay. So it's just like one huge loop that you can play, and you couldn't really actually pin down where the music begins or ends without looking. :)
You've done a lovely job. I'm really tempted to look at your other stuff (story first. You've inspired me. :P), and I really can't wait for your other pieces of work!
5/5!

I am honored by your review! I often do what you described and pretend to play along with great music. At other times, I will simply listen and let inspiration carry me away as I write a story. I never imagined that my music would do the same for other people. (Or put their kitten to sleep for that matter! :P)
If by "tinkering around on the ivory" you are insinuating that I played this, you would be mistaken. I wrote this completely using the computer, as I probably couldn't play it! I did spend quite a bit of time tweaking notes and dynamics to make it sound as realistic as I could.
Thank you for the wonderful review! If you do end up writing a story out of inspiration from this, I would be delighted if you PMed it my way. I love to read such things! If you do check out my other work, please take a look at Sadness and Sorrow v.2, as I believe you'd enjoy it. (Sorry for the advertising there!)

It made me think of a very slow waltz in the middle of a majestic courtroom at night, shrouded in the cloak of the night.
It was hauntingly beautiful. This was most definitely spot on. :)
